Getting There.From Hood River, Oregon 1) Cross the Hood River Bridge to Washington 2) Turn right on highway 14 towards Bingen 3) Follow highway 14 through the town of Bingen 4) Go 2.7 miles past Bingen, turn left at Courtney Rd 5) Turn immediately into the carpark on the left 6) The trailhead is on the other side of Courtney Rd through the gate and just past the funky wooden structure on the left Route Finding1) The trailhead is on the other side of Courtney Rd through the gate and just past the funky wooden structure on the left. 2) This trail winds up through the trees and goes for miles. 3) The views of the basalt cliffs are quite spectacular 4) There is a network of trails around this area that all connect at the top, although the top is quite some way up the trail. 5) Mountain bikes use this trail so keep one eye open for them 6) You’ll cross several small streams along the way Trail Resources
